Wildcat co-hosted How Legends Design & Dominate Categories

On September 6, Traction Gap Institute (TGI) joined Wildcat Venture Partners to host How Legends Design & Dominate Categories.

The event featured a talk by Chris Lochhead, co-author of Play Bigger: How Pirates, Dreamers and Innovators Create and Dominate Markets and co-host of the podcast Legends and Losers. Chris shared the concept of category design and its importance as companies develop their business strategies.

During the event, TGI also announced its new partnership with Athena Alliance led by Coco Brown. The Athena Alliance’s mission is to help place some of the most successful women executives onto startup boards. Athena Alliance joins existing TGI partners, Wildcat Venture Partners and Velocity to help contribute to the ongoing development of the Traction Gap Framework and research.

Guests at the event were treated to delightful wines and tasty bites while they mingled at Dog Patch’s Wine Works in San Francisco.
